Jermaine Jenkins, CEO of JWORK LIMITED always had a eye for fashion and leadership. In his high school and early college years, he discovered that he had a knack for redesigning popular clothing items and designing custom pieces as well. Not quite realizing the scope of that gift and faced with the news of a son on the way, Jermaine decided to take a different route. He chose to do the best thing to support his family and enter the military. While overseas, Jermaine was able to benefit from the exposure to multiple cultures, which further fueled his creative engine. Although he had many positive experiences, the military also brought negative in the form of a near death encounter. While on a mission with his unit, Jermaine's vehicle was hit by an IED, a roadside mine-like explosive device. Jermaine was temporarily blinded. His short term loss of sight however, increased his long term vision and drive. It was in this time period that JWORK LIMITED was born. After returning from a tour in Iraq, Jermaine returned to Columbus with both a purple heart and a new focus. Jermaine immediately went to work creating a clothing line with a twist, something that would appeal to those with a higher sense of their own greatness, freedom, and desire to achieve. JWORK LIMITED was incorporated in 2005 with the goal; to create clothing that could identify with the individual, to give a voice to those who wanted to look and feel exclusive, and live the 5 Star Lifestyle.
